DJ GEMINI GILLY

DJ GEMINI GILLY is a Milwaukee-born DJ and curator with a deep love for Black music and culture. Inspired by her older brother’s collection of 70’s Disco and 00’s Southern Hip-Hop, she developed a passion for music early on. After years of being the go-to AUX cord operator, she taught herself how to DJ and found her true calling.

DJ GEMINI GILLY has performed for thousands, DJing for former Madam Vice President Kamala Harris on her historic 2024 presidential campaign run, and opening for major artists like SZA, GloRilla, Mariah the Scientist, Durand Bernarr, and many others. She’s also earned a spot on the Milwaukee Bucks DJ Squad and serves as the official DJ for LOVB Madison and the Wisconsin Badgers Men's and Women’s Basketball team. In addition to her work on stage, she is a Social Ambassador for the Milwaukee Brewers, bridging the gap between music, culture, and sports.

In 2023, she launched GEMS ONLY, a signature event series that amplifies, celebrates, and centers BIPOC communities through thoughtfully curated experiences that highlight joy, creativity, and connection. In 2025, DJ GEMINI GILLY produced and curated a headlining three-hour GEMS ONLY show at Summerfest World Festival paying homage to Black and Brown women artists.

Beyond the turntables, DJ GEMINI GILLY holds a master’s degree in social work and is deeply committed to advocacy, using her platform to inspire Black youth to turn their passions into careers while fostering authentic community and meaningful connection through her work. In recognition of her impact in the arts community, she was awarded the Trailblazer Award by TBEY Arts Center for her work in using the arts to express, engage, and empower.
